After entering into a sales contact with Melisa & Simon, they hit the ground running! Melisa quickly developed a very detailed plan to stage our home in order to appeal to her targeted market. Melisa employs her own handyman, an awesome guy named Larry, who started taking down pictures and other items on each wall, patching holes and doing all of the touch up painting and he even painted several accent walls with a modern color that really upgraded the look and feel throughout the house. He even helped with removing much of our furniture & boxes to the garage. Melisa also purchased many items, including 2 recliners for us to use, and provided ALL of the staging furniture and accessories from her large inventory. She did all of the above without charging any fees for this service (which ALL of the other agents required). After all of the hard work Melisa put in on our house for the showing, we had offers in 2 days we accepted offer in just 6 days!!! We quickly realized that we then had to find a new place to make our home – and quickly. Again, Melisa came to the rescue by quickly changing gears into the process of finding us a new home. She gained a thorough understanding of what we were looking and quickly narrowed down possible houses. Since our want list was extensive and the home inventory sparse, we weren’t convinced that she could pull this task off as easily as she did in selling our home. WRONG!!!! After she submitted our offer package we were soon notified that we had made it down to be 1 of 2 offers the sellers were going to choose from. Once again Melisa helped us to develop a last & final offer which the sellers accepted (even though the cash buyer offered more money). Again, Melisa delivered by outmatching even our highest expectations. She is a fantastic person and really knows her business well. Now we had to get financing finalized since we were going into a shortened escrow. This is where Simon stepped up because his specialty is working with clients to help them acquire loan funding at the best rate possible. Simon worked with us to gain a loan pre-approval that also helped greatly in being selected by the seller to buy their home. He then worked diligently to secure final loan funding that met our needs. The entire process was seamlessly handled with most transactions done from the comfort of our home.
